Dear All

Soe Soe Mar,

* In the hospital just a few hours after you left, Dr. Simon Lee asked us to recount the last words we heard from you.
* I have in my heart your words, not necessarily the last but lasting words, that you once said to me "Let us all be more friendly and kind to one another".
* In and thro. these words, I can see your heart -- love and kindness.

You suddenly left us to take rest in Peace forever where there is no pain, no hungry, no thirsty… and no dissertation.
Personally I feel very sad. It is a great lost for us, the Christians in Myanmar.
This unexpected death reminds me to realize that:
“All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers, and its flower falls away,
But the word of the LORD endures forever.” (1 Pet. 1:24-25; Cf. Isa. 40:6-8)

Dear Lord,

It's was so sad and unbelievable to me since it was just a short while after our sister mourned for her mother in Myanmar. She is commemorated for her painful confession in faith to her country people during the political crisis in 07'. At the moment, though in mist, yet I never doubt of Your kindness in Your ordination; all I can think of crying out to You, Lord, is "Comforts us, comforts us Your people, speak Thee comfortably to ChungChi; and cry unto sister Soe Soe Mar that her warfare is accomplished..."(adopted from Isa 40)

May our Lord comfort us, here in HK and the family and congregations in Myanmar; show us alive the way to live for Your Purpose. Amen.

"How can I get a secondhand notebook at bedrock price for my thesis writing?" The request you asked during the meeting in ATESEA/SEAGST Workshop in Seremban, Malaysia at Oct., 2006. I knew you got one finally. At this time, I do believe God will also conern your family, your friends in Hong Kong, your churches in Myanmar and your country request when they know your suddenly back to Him. Your smiling face was still in my memory. May your commitment to God, family and your country as a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, then bears much fruit in Lord.

We had met her only recently in our English Corner. We enjoyed her present and her candid opinion on almost everything. She loved God very dearly, she expressed about her view on her government and what they should do to improve their country and their people's livelihood. May the good Lord that been keep watching her now offers her the love and peace she been expecting with the Father in heaven and at the same time gives comfort and peace to her family. We shall all pray for her and her family.

so so mar我会一直想着你的。

I did not have much opportunity to chat with you, Soe Soe Mar, but we just greeted each other with a lively 'hello' before Thursday nights' assemblies.

However, at the Sunday Fund Raising, I was your first 'customer'. You told me, you had difficulty in your studies as you are already 'too old to remember anything'. I challenged you..."Let's guess who's older....' We both laughed so heartily.

That was our longest conversation ever. I treasure that few minutes.

Rest in peace! Till we meet again!

It was a terrible shock to hear that you suddenly went home. Your dedication for the growth of our Taunggyi kayin Baptist church, the well-being of the youth and your helping hands will always be remembered. Our church lost a great member who can't be replaced.
Our heartfelt goes to the bereaved family and pray that God will grant them peace and satisfaction.

Your charming personality,
Your lovely voice and graceful smile
is engraved in my heart.
I thought my tears will not run dry just thinking about you,
it finally did but I did not stop missing You.
None of us could ever forget You!
The life you've left behind for us
to remember
we'll cherish them dearly.
I do not think we've all recovered from the shock of losing you -
but this pain will remind us to cherish ALL whose lives are precious in God's sight.
You rest in peace in the LORD's bosom, and there lies also a wreath with the beautiful colored petals of ALL our love.
Love you dearly always ...
Nancy
