地點：西貢樟木頭村一座村屋，與港鐵站步行距離約十分鐘
住宿人數：可供16人住宿
2.入住校外宿舍之學生數目：
3男13女。
3.入校外宿舍條件考慮
3.1由宗派／教會津貼／全費資助的學生的住宿安排，須徵得其宗派／教會同意
3.2租務之法律考慮 (不用繳交宿費者優先入住校外宿舍)
3.3不會單是本地或外/內地入住新宿舍
3.4行動不便者會住在神學樓
3.5交換生及交流生住在神學樓較合適
3.6以自願入住新宿舍者優先，其後按以上情況再作考慮
3.7有特殊情況之學生，須按其特殊情況作出安排

Here is the memo from the working group of the off-campus hostel:
1.The off-campus hostel：
Venue：Sai Kung, reach Wu Kai Sha MTR station within 10 mins.
Vacancies: 16
2.Distribution：
3 male students and 13 female students
3.considerations for living in the off-campus hostel;
3.1 The consent by the denomination or church is needed for who are fully
subsidized by his/her denomination or church.
3.2 Legal considerration for rental affairs. (Higher priority for who need not
pay the hostel fee)
3.3 not only local or mainland students will live in the off campus hostel
3.4 It’s better for the physical disables to live in TB
3.5 It’s better for the exchange students to live in TB
3.6 Higher priority for who willing to live in the off-campus hostel. For the
rest vacacies, the conditions above would be considered for the choosing.
3.7 For students with special needs, the arrangement will be considered by
individual situations.

1.潘正行(M.Div3)爺爺（潘以漢）在6月26日晚上安息主懷，喪禮將會在7月13及14日在世界殯儀館敬仰堂舉行，13日晚上8時告別禮，14日早上9時安息禮。願主安慰Amos及其家屬。
2.神學樓的宿位緊張，不敷應用。因此神學院於下學年，即九月份始，會安排部份學生到”off
campus” 的宿舍居住。地點是馬鞍山的樟木頭村，即烏溪沙站附近。
現在正籌組工作小組參與計劃這個新的安排，工作包括商討安排那些同學居住新宿舍，如何照顧新宿舍的宿生等等。如有興趣參與工作小組或對此事件有任何意見，歡迎以電郵或電話(94260617)聯絡我。

From A Hermeneutical Understanding of Unity and Diversity Towards A
Re-Definition of Biblical Theology
Highlights:
Is there a centre in the OT, the NT, and the whole Bible? If yes, what are they,
and if not, why so?
What is the relationship between biblical studies, biblical theology, and
systematic theology?
Since Semler and Gabler in the 18th century, the detached historical reading and
the commited theological reading seem to be irreconcilable and characterise the
anti-pathetic relation between the Universities and the seminaries, a biblical
scholar and a theologian, a secluar knowledge and spiritual lights. Is there a
third way?
In this postmodern era that replaces metaphyscial truth with pluralistic
readings of the Bible like feminist, ecologist, queer, and postcolonialist. Are
they legitimate and justifiable?
The above questions are the background of this topic. The scope of biblical
theology, its methodology and the problem of unity and diversity have long been
the key issues of biblical theology (and NT/OT theology). By reviewing the
history of unity and diversity from a hermeneutical perspective, with the
insights borrowed from Tillich’s theological structure, I attempt to re-definte
the scope of biblical theology and its relationship with biblical studies and
systematic theology. This re-definition may also bring new insights to the
problem of unity and diversity, in particular, towards the seemingly unbounded
postmodern readings of the Bible.
Geoffrey Lam: Contextual Theology Reflection on Hospital Chaplaincy Service.

知道有些同學身處內地或外地，未能得到放置民主女神像及悼念六四事件之新聞，現簡述如下：
1.上週五晚上八時為悼念晚會。這是自從八九年以後也有舉行的，已有二十一年歷史。在集會後，有近千人到中文大學，火車站外的空地迎接新民主女神像。新民主女神像在沒有阻欄下成功放置大中大火車站外的空地。當場中大哲學系系主任張燦輝教授、中大員工總會會長吳曉珍女士均有發言。

Dear SU members,
Through a simple survey, we recognized that fellows in mainland received the
e-mails I sent in previous days. It’s so precious that some entries about the
sensitive topics are blocked or deleted in webs in mainland. So that they could
not mourn the martyr. I am so impressed that some fellows sent me the memorial
speech. If you want to share with fellows, please send me and we can share more
in the web2.0 world. We also want to use the website of SU after solving the
technique problems. We will keep on using e-mail temporarily. May we concern our
country through this issue and understand our society with critical mind.
Some of our fellows are in mainland or overseas and they cannot get the update
news. Now briefly report as below:
The annual candle-light vigil to remember the Tiananmen Square crackdown was
held in Victoria Park last Friday. Afterwards the replica of “Goddess of
Democracy” statue was moved to CUHK campus, in front of University MTR station,
with the welcome by over a thousand citizens, students and staff. Prof. Cheung
Chang Fai, the chairman of the department of Philosophy, and Miss Ng Hiu Chun,
the chairperson of Employee General Union, gave a speech to the public (all in
Cantonese).

證道和科學研究，有一共通點，它們都在見證真理。
因此，證道和科學研究，都能夠成為一生委身的召命。
承擔著此召命，我們關注近日有基督教機構向各界宣告經鑑定已發現了挪亞方舟一事，此事除引起本地社會及教會群體的關注和困惑外，亦已引起國際回應。
我們是一群新約及舊約聖經學者、神學學者、教會牧者和畢業生福音工作者。我們認為挪亞方舟的討論，不僅是考古，也涉及歷史、信仰、與聖經文本之
間的詮釋關係。我-們本著專業和承擔著教會的守望者角色，在這個聚會中表達我們的看法。我們雖來自不同神學院和教會，但我們共通的，是篤信聖經的真實。我
們希望以公開和嚴謹的態度-，和眾信徒交流討論。
