Talk at the DSCCC of this year Siu Lien Ling Wong Visiting Fellows is held on
4/2 Thursday Night. Professor Kin-Fu Chak(Institute of Biochemistry and
Molecular Biology, National Yang Ming University, Taiwan). Topic: Health and
You – Strategy for Participating in General Educational Programme of a Basic
Scientist. All students please attend 6:30pm for Holy Communion Service at G/F
Theology Bldg as usual.
H.K. Theological Student Day:
H.K. Theological Student Day is on 26 Feb(Fri) for all students to join and meet
other students from other school in worship, talk and seminars. See attached

Department of Cultural and Religious Studies teachers and students, at 6:30pm,

postponed.
Below is the information from the DSCCC:
21 Jan: NO FSS CLASS
28 Jan: Venue at CCT Lobby (Rev. Dr. K. C. Abraham will give a speech), at
2:30-4pm. Topic is “New Challenges to Asian Theology”.
4 Feb: Venue at CCT Lobby (Prof. Cindy Chapman will give a speech), at 2:30pm.
(Attached please find the materials for her speech. Prof. Chapman requests all
the participants to read section one, pages 1-18. The rest of the paper is only
for those who have specific interest in the topic and the appendices are for
reference only.)
If you know anyone who is going to add FSS, please inform them of such

1. Dr Chapman is going to give a seminar for Faculty Student Seminar (FSS II &
IV) on this Thursday at 4pm, Theology Building G/Floor. All students are
welcome to join.
2. We will have Thursday Night Assembly this week (21 Jan). The programme
topic
is students sharing Student Ministry in Mainland China 內地學生福音事工.
Worship starts at 6:30pm at Theology Building G/Floor, as usual.
3. Church visit on 31 Jan 2010 has already arranged all Full-time students on
the list. If there is any enquiry, please contact Ting Ting. The Choir
practicing for each team is on 28 Jan (Next Thursday at
5:45pm). 所有全時間同學需出席參加1月31日教會探訪。下星期四下午5:45練習。請各同學預留時間出席。
4. The Thursday Night Assembly Arrangement for this semester has already

SU apologizes to the mistakes about the time and venue of THE2221 Early &
Medieval Church on our timetable. The correct time is 8:30-11:15am on Fridays
at ELB205. Attached is the corrected timetable.

Dear All,
Greetings from Yale!
KK and I have arrived safely at Yale this morning. Today the school has
arranged two Chinese students (one from HK, Tim Li who used to study and work
at CUHK and the other one from China) to bring us around. The weather here is
not too bad.
KK and I stay at Junior rooms in different halls, one-minute away on foot. The
room is big with a living room, a bedroom, open kichen and a toilet. The
building is old but the room is furnished with furniture. Basic cooking
utensil is provided.
Attached please find a picture of mine in front of the dormitory where I stay
now. Check KK’s facebook to view his.
Thank you again for your kind support!
I feel tired now due to jet lag (HK is 13 hours ahead) but started to feel
excited about the exchange programme. Write to you later.
